Wygląda na to, że Pontiac przegrał wieloletnią walkę z rdzą, nie ma go już tam gdzie stał, obawiam się, że mógł źle skończyć.
Do roku 1976 można było zamówić Firebirda z silnikiem 455 cali, do 1979 - 400 cali, od 1980 roku największy silnik miał 305 cali, ale pojawiła się też opcja silnika 301 z turbo. Jeśli ktoś w drugiej połowie lat 70 szukał czegoś szybkiego w normalnej cenie (jak np. „Bandzior” z filmu „Mistrz kierownicy ucieka” czyli „Smokey and the Bandit”) to musiał wziąć pod uwagę Pontiaca. City of Lowell is the fourth largest in Massachusetts and has a little over 100 thousand residents. Lowell is considered the cradle of the industrial revolution in the U.S., it's nice to walk through the revitalized downtown, where more and more post-industrial nineteenth century buildings are converted into lofts. Outside its downtown Lowell is far less interesting, but you can find some "curbside" classics, such as this Pontiac Firebird, spotted on Middlesex St. It seems that Pontiac lost a long battle with rust, it's not there anymore where it was parked, I'm afraid it could end up badly.
